Job Summary
The People & Operations Lead is a strategic and hands-on role designed to bridge the gap between traditional HR functions and business operations. Unlike a traditional HR Manager, this role focuses on leveraging data and technology to optimize the entire employee lifecycle, driving high performance, and ensuring operational efficiency across the organization.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic People Operations
- Design and implement scalable people process—from recruitment to offboarding that prioritize employee experience and cultural alignment.
- Utilize HRIS and data analytics to track workforce trends, predict talent needs, and measure the ROI of people initiatives.
- Lead change management efforts to support organizational growth and digital transformation.
2.Operational Excellence & Efficiency
- Oversee daily business operations, workflows, and resource allocation to ensure the company runs smoothly.
- Streamline administrative processes through automation and the adoption of advanced workplace technologies.
- Manage vendor contracts, procurement, and operational budgets with a focus on cost-effectiveness.
3.Talent Development & Culture
- Partner with department heads to design career development frameworks and internal mobility pathways.
- Foster a high-performance culture by implementing proactive engagement strategies and feedback loops.
- Coordinate performance management cycles, ensuring they are growth-oriented rather than just compliance-based.
4. Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure all people and operational activities comply with local labor laws and safety regulations.
- Maintain the integrity and security of employee data in accordance with GDPR and other data protection standards.
COMPENSATION & CAREER DEVELOPMENT
- ₦450,000 net salary

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive HR experience in a structured organization (manufacturing, FMCG, or corporate environment preferred)
- Proven experience leading performance management and talent development processes
- Experience managing HR operations, compliance, and administrative functions
