Volunteer UX Writer Needed — Rebranding Project (TAM)

We are currently rebranding Tickets & Attendees Manager (TAM), a web-based SaaS platform built to help event organizers manage ticketing, attendees, and engagement seamlessly across Africa.

To support this phase, we are looking for a Volunteer UX Writer to collaborate with our product, design, and engineering teams.



🎯 Role: Volunteer UX Writer

Type: Volunteer / Remote
Duration: Project-based (Rebranding phase)


🧩 Responsibilities

As a UX Writer, you will:

Write clear, concise, and user-friendly microcopy across the platform

Craft onboarding flows, tooltips, error messages, empty states, and system notifications

Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers to align content with user journeys

Ensure consistency in tone, voice, and terminology across TAM

Simplify complex workflows into intuitive, easy-to-understand language

Review and refine existing content to improve usability and clarity

Contribute to the creation of a UX content style guide (if needed)


Requirements

Experience or strong interest in UX writing, content design, or product writing

Understanding of user-centered design principles

Ability to write simple, clear, and purposeful copy

Familiarity with SaaS products or digital platforms is a plus

Ability to collaborate remotely and meet agreed timelines

Portfolio or sample work is an advantage



❗ Compensation

This is a volunteer role and does not come with salary or financial rewards.
However, contributors will receive recognition, experience, and portfolio exposure.
