Financial Data Analyst in Lagos

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and insightful Financial Market Analyst to join our team.
• The ideal candidate will identify, analyze financial data, market trends, and economic conditions to provide actionable insights that support strategies and business decisions.

Responsibilities
• Monitor and analyze financial markets, including equities, bonds, commodities, and currencies
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative research to identify local and global market trends and economic opportunities
• Prepare detailed reports and forecasts based on market data, economic indicators, and geopolitical events
• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to develop financial strategies and support with providing transactional financial advisory services
• Stay updated on industry news, regulations, and global economic developments
• Prepare detailed presentations and resource materials on financial markets topics, including market structure, treasury management, risk management, financial policies etc
• Present findings and recommendations to senior management and clients.

Requirements / Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Law, Business Administration, Accounting, or any relevant field
• 1 - 3 years work experience
• Experience in financial market analysis or investment research(preferred)
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in the use of relevant digital tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret complex data.
